Where to Apply
The application for the EMGS programme is to be addressed only to the Global and European Studies Institute of Leipzig University (regardless of your preferred mobility track). On the further procedure and documents, see the following pages.
Starting from 2020/21, the application will be online and managed through the AlmaWeb portal of Leipzig University. However, please note that after successful admission, you will be asked to submit hard copies of your application files to Leipzig University.
Use of Data
Please be informed that in case you are selected for admission to the programme and/or proposed for an Erasmus Mundus scholarship, your data may be used for evaluation purposes in order to efficiently manage the project as well as for producing statistics and could be made available to the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), the European Commission, the European External Action Service staff, and other stakeholders of the Erasmus+ programme, such as Erasmus+ National Agencies, National Erasmus+ Offices, and the Erasmus Mundus Student and Alumni Association as well as staff of any of the participating universities.

Please note that we do NOT return any of the documents you have sent, no matter if you receive an admission to the master’s programme or not.
