We congratulate Dr. Fana Gebresenbet, Ph.D., for being appointed as the Interim Director of the Institute for Peace and Security Studies (IPSS), Addis Ababa University. He follows Dr. Yonas Adaye, Ph.D., who begins his appointment as one of the Commissioners for the Ethiopian National Dialogue Commission. It has been a pleasure to work with Dr. Yonas Adaye on our joint MA and PhD program „Global Studies with a special emphasis on peace and securoty in Africa“, who has proven to be supportive and inspiring in many ways. We are now looking forward to continueing this fruitful cooperation.
