Eligibility & Application

The European Commission awards scholarships to highly qualified scholars to teach and research at the universities of an Erasmus Mundus consortium. The EMGS Consortium invites Erasmus+ programme scholars to partake in lecturing and researching at all the participating universities.

Successful applicants are provided a grant of €1,950 per week. The minimum duration of the stay is one week, and the maximum duration is four weeks.

Candidates should have an outstanding academic record and a keen interest in global studies. Interested scholars have to submit the following documents with their application:

  •  A curriculum vitae;
  • the application form (PDF or Word);
  • bibliographic information on three recent publications on topics related to the study programme;
  • and a 1–2 page proposal describing the teaching and research activities to be carried out during the stay at one of the European participating universities of the EMGS Consortium.
